Joe is an actor, writer and performer born, raised and schooled in southern Michigan.

He's worked on various productions on and off-Broadway, along with diverse groups across the US including the New York Musical Theatre Festival, American Stage Theatre Company, Short North Stage, the Fireside Theatre, Laboratory Theatre, Built for Collapse, Water People Theatre, the Seven Collective, Loudermilk Productions, the Ringwald Theatre and Greenfield Village. He's appeared in TV programs on Oxygen, the Travel Channel and Investigation Discovery, as well as ads for Disaronno and Newport.

Joe has experience in print journalism and arts criticism with the Michigan Daily, radio journalism with WDET-FM and freeform DJ'ing with Ann Arbor's beloved WCBN-FM and the short-lived Detroit FREQ Radio station. He also served as Literary Associate at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center in the winter of 2012.

He is a two-time Hopwood Award recipient and proud graduate of both the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and the University of Michigan. 

He lives in Brooklyn for now.
